My Point Of View And My Opinion example essay topic
How effective is Multimedia on human society? Let me ask first a question: How does America (or other super power countries) fight their wars these days? Sophisticated weapons and planes? Yes - but that comes in as the second strategy / option.
The first war is fought with 'media's propaganda'. I'm not pointing out any political views here - the 'propaganda war' thing is actually a very smart thing - I sure would do the same because it's amazing how humans fall for it blindfolded. Living in a as they call it 'democratic world' - it is important to win the people on your side and to get a green light form them to move to the second stage in a war - which is the war where death is involved - the weapon war. It's so easy for the planes and other sophisticated weapons do the job once they have people's approval for the attack. So how do they win the people on their side?
Simple! They pick out their next victim - let's take Iraq's case for an example. Before they attack they have to point out reasons for wanting to attack. Their reasons: Saddam Hussein is an evil, a Dictator (you name it) - they blame him for creating nuclear weapons to destroy the whole world - they first of all put fear in people and then they go deep into his roots and talk about his violent manners, bad treatments towards his citizens - they will absolutely talk about anything and everything just to get the people to hate him. So the two words 'fear' and 'hate' put together is enough of a reason to explain of how people are brought to fate Saddam Hussein. This is not a defense of Saddam Hussein or a statement against America but explanation of how it's done no matter if the facts are true or lies.
The other day I was talking to my manager and he was telling me of how he saw a documentary film about how the Taliban i people in Afghanistan treat their women with violence. He recalled of seeing the women's eyes being taken out and nose and ears being cut out. After he finished I asked hi one question: Who made this documentary film and why was it particularly made about the Afghanistan's women? He answered it was an American Film: That's right - an American Film. And why would the American film particularly talk about Afghan women when there is discrimination towards women on every corner of the world?! Simply because they are in a war with Afganistan - they need to get as much support and approval form the people as possible - showing women's or children's sufferings is the best way to win people's hearts.
I told my manager that I don't think Afghanisatnian men treat their wifes that bed after all - and pointed out the story of the journalist lady ho ent to Afghanis atn with the assignment to bring some more propaganda - but she got imprisoned by the Talinanies and to her disbelief was treated with full respect and care and totally unharmed c mae out of the prison with the story that Afghanstanian women are being treated with respect by their husbands and that nothing is true to what has been said before ao but them. What happens to her? She lost her job - why? Because she told the truth and not what they asked her to say. Poor Women. That is a discrimination!
Americ " as im is always to make their enemy as bad as possible and to make them selevs in the eye of the public as the only good guys - just as they are potraiting them selevs in their blockbuster movies.
