They say the children are the future. Are the children the future and if so from what class do they come from? Does this apply to all children? I tell myself each day that I am somebody. Only God knows why he put me here.

I know tha the put me here for a reason and for what ever reason that may be I will do everything i can do to fulfill his need and my duty. People look up to me for many reasons. I come from a low-income family. My father has always been absent in my life. My mother has been the bread winner and the soul provider me and my four siblings. I grew up in a Pentecostal church where I found developed my beleifs and values.

As I entered my senior year in high school, i befriended a girl from another country by the name of Rhonda. Rhonda was impoirtnat in my life. I learned a lot from her and she learned a lot from me. We became inseparable. Only a few months after the new school year began I became pregnant. I felt that this was the biggest mistake of my life because I had many plans to go on to college.

There were washed. I had no where to go. I felt that I could not trust anyone but Rhonda. The father of my child had disappeared after the news of us becoming pregnant. He was a total loser to begin with.

I struggled through my senior year.
