My senior year in high school was one of the best years in my life. I had many great experiences and some not so great experiences. Like everybody my senior year in high school was the end to all the playing and having fun and the start of the real world. My senior year in high school was great. First of all I was no longer a underclassman. We get to school on the first day and have to sit in the auditorium and listen to a speaker talk about how we are suppose to be leaders on the campus not that we are seniors.
We are to lead the school and set a good example for all the other underclassman. The lecture lasted almost until 10: 00 and then we were free to go home for the day. The second is when we started class. I only had one hard class my senior and it was advanced math which really was not that hard because I am really good at math. I had English which was not hard except for the ten page term paper I had to do. Other than those to class I just took some other easy classes to get my GPA up.
I took a typing course and accounting. After I was done with those four classes I was free to go for the day. Well I to be back at the school at 3: 00 for baseball practice. I did not mind doing that though because it was something that I liked to do.
Another great experience I had my senior year was playing baseball. We had a great team and had really good chances of maybe going deep into the playoffs. When we got back to school in august we started lifting weights and running everyday to get back in shape because most of worked during the summer and did not have time to come up to the school and workout. We hit the weights and running pretty hard until January. In January we can start practicing and having practice games. We had eight seniors on our team that had a lot of experience and have been playing since we were little kids.
We start the season in the middle of February. We had plenty of time to get back in the grove of everything. Our season went pretty good we lost a few games but it was still great. We went undefeated in district and went to the quarterfinals in the playoffs. I would say our season turned out pretty good except that we did not win the state championship. That would have mad my senior year even greater.
The greatest thing about my senior year is that I met the love of my life. We were good friends before we started dating and had a real good friendship. We have been dating now for almost four years and have big plans for our life in the future. She has already graduated from nursing school and started her career as a nurse. We plan on getting married when I graduate from college and find a good paying job. We hope to have all of our bills paid off by then so we don't have too many bills to worry about.
We will one day have a great life. I had some great times my senior year. I can't complain at all about how it went. I will never have that experience again in my life. I just wish that it could have lasted a little bit longer..
