Liquid caps or liquid medication are available to take. Nyquil is a wonderful product that works miracles when it comes to cold and flu relief. I feel that this product is targeted for all people but I do feel that children under the age of 12 shouldn't consume it. From viewing the commercials on TV, you see adults that can't sleep at night because they " re up tossing and turning due to a cough or stuffy nose and cant breath.
From this, I gathered that Nyquil's main target is for the adult but what we do see today is a vast number of college students being the #1 consumer of this product. Today, it seems to be the college student who uses Nyquil to fall asleep at night. College students are faced with amounts of stress that stand out on a level that keep them up at night. Tests, deadlines, due dates, homework, relationships, and friends are all what keep the heads ringing of these students. Nyquil seems to be the "drug" to take when these issues become problems in their lives. From this study, I am now a true believer that college students are the ones who misuse this product the most.
The purpose of this product is to relieve all the symptoms that are common with a cold or flue. It is a medication the helps strengthen the immune system of the human body. With the immune system strong and healthy, it can fight off the symptoms that cause colds and flues. This product simply rebuilds and adds the cells of your immune system that fight off and kill the cells that cause colds and flu's. There are other brands that pretty much do the same thing. Sudafed and Tylenol Cold and Flu are what compete with Nyquil on the sales market today. Nyquil costs around $5.39 for a box of 12 soft gel liquid caps. The other brands compete with the price and are right around the price of Nyquil. A lot of times a consumer will pay up to $25 to $30 just to continue on the medication until they feel back to normal or finally better.
Sometimes people refuse to pay that much money to get rid of a cold or flu so there is a similar brand of Nyquil on the marked and it's called Sudafed. Sudafed usually runs around the price of $3.99 and does the same thing as Nyquil only it comes in many different formulas to cure the different symptoms that come along with a cold and flu. Sometimes I feel that a consumer is better off paying for Sudafed rather then Nyquil because it does all the same things and Sudafed comes in a non-drowsy formula and is cheaper. Your almost getting more for less the cost but still is the same thing.
