Obviously Uneducated Church example essay topic

By the title of this essay you might think I'm talking about three different churches, I am. But not three you might expect. When I say three churches you are probably thinking of different denominations like Catholic, Episcopal, or even Mormon. All these are just denominations among others that are scattered throughout the world. All of which claim salvation. This basically means all of them say if you are in our church you are going to heaven.

Really, there are hundreds of branches and denominations in our world. I don't understand why this is. I could try to explain what I have been taught on why this is, but that is not a purpose right now. I will just throw this in, confusion from a negative power.

If a person can see through all this confusion you can see a lot more in all these denominations. You can see the plentiful similarities and the minute differences. For example the only thing that separates Catholics and the Presbyterian Church is there belief in divorce. Catholics believe it is not okay and the Presbyterians think it is okay.

I have personally classified the churches into three different categories. The first one is conservative. This is the type I worship with. The second one is liberal.

And the third really doesn't have an official name. I call it the sincerely wrong or the obviously uneducated church. All denominational and non-denominational churches fall under one of my three categories. Now I would like to take the time to say my categories are based on my personal knowledge of the bible and am certainly not the one to judge anyone or any church. If I have anything to say or criticize I will do my best to back it up and explain my point of view on a topic and why I put certain churches / denominations in what category I did. Also, I want to be careful about labeling a church as a whole because salvation comes down the individual, him / her self.

This is a good subject to start out with. The sincerely wrong or obviously uneducated churches fail to teach that the church is all about one individual rather than one church building or one religion. These churches welcome you with open arms but do not teach you facts. It is more like a social gathering to discuss what you did all weekend rather than to worship God.

These churches also let you think that going there every Sunday is enough, only to go back to there sinful life thinking that they went to church and that was enough, not actually living a life with God. There is a lot more to life with God than going to a building once a week. Also, (like I said before this is my belief and it might differ from others) the churches that God is only love are completely fooling you and misleading you. There are examples in the bible of God enforcing consequences on people who do wrong things. These churches just let you come in to sit and listen to somebody tell you that God will love you no matter what, like it's alright to get a divorce, go commit adultery, or go steal a car cause God will forgive you. Obviously this is not the way to think of God.

God does forgive, but people who do it intentionally will have consequences. These people are obviously uneducated or just don't care. Now before I say what I'm about to say I am willing to study with anyone who wants to teach me more about the Mormons. I might be just uneducated, but what I know of them right now is a guy named Jonathan Smith was given some golden plates that were supposedly the lost word of god, the rest of the gospel (Hobbs 2)". On September 22, 1827 he was given the plates.

Smith copied some of the characters, translated them; and sent them to a Mr. Athlon in New York by Martin Harris. Anth on said, according to Harris's purported report, that the translation was correct, "In 1838, he angel came for the plates and Smith delivered them up to him". (Hobbs 2). Now what happened in the bible happened 2000 plus years ago, to me 2000 years ago was a magical mysterious era.

So for me the bible seems a lot more believable than something that happened when my great great grandparents were alive. This guy had a lot of time to possibly write a big story that fits together well. I just think it is very suspicious. What is weird to me other than late publishing is the fact that Mormonism claims to be the same as the bible message wise. If this was the case, would we need the Book of Mormon?

I don't think so, but there are millions of people who practice this every day. I'm sure there are a lot of good people in the Mormon faith, but really I think they are being mislead. It even says in the bible that there will be false teachers, in 2 Peter 2: 1 it says "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves" (Holy Bible NASB). There is also a verse in the Bible that says the gospel is complete and all is known. This would make the Book of Mormon to late. There is another late religion that I really don't know to much about so you think I shouldn't talk about it.

Well, all I need to know is one thing. In the book of Revelation chapter 7 starting in verse 4 it talks about the twelve tribes of Israel. To make little story shorter, this religion is either just stubborn and refuses to see the truth or just haven't had the right instruction. Anyway Jehovah witnesses believe only 144,000 people are going to heaven. I really do not know how they get that from reading Rev 7: 4-8.

Aside from that they also believe if you aren't going to heaven than you " re not going anywhere, as if you become a void in space and time. I was taught like most other churches that you go to Hell if you aren' going to heaven. I must remind you that this is my own personal classification essay with my own views. There are so many crazy belief systems in the world and I wouldn't doubt for a second that some people would love to criticize my belief.
