By just merely watching the news, people are killing themselves and each other which contribute to the end of the world effort. On a sad note, scientist have discovered that the end of the world will indeed came eventually in about five billion years when the sun loses all energy and turns into a red giant, engulfing the earth. If it is a natural disaster or a weapon of mass destruction, the end of the world has different views in different civilizations (both new and old) with different outcomes resting in the end of the world.
