One Hero example essay topic

430 words
Many of our heroes today are characterized by their tremendous strength, or their romantic appeal, but I believe that a hero should not be characterized by these qualities, but rather what they d with them. What we do with our qualities is what makes the difference between a hero and an ordinary person. Some people think is someone who has characteristics which they can identify with, while to others, a hero is someone who has the characteristics that they would want to have. Whether money, fame, and material wealth make a hero or if its their characteristic to make difference in society, it is one's own choice to believe who is a hero and who is not. Yet, even though this is true, everyone should recognize that a hero i snot someone who just has material wealth, but someone who has the qualities to be able to sand up for what they believe in and try to make a positive change in society. A hero can be a person who does many different things.

One hero may give an elderly lady back her purse when she unknowingly drops it on the street. To the elderly lady, this person is a hero and would be viewed by many other people in the same way. This hero, on the other hand, could be interpreted by critics as a normal person doing what anyone would do if they were to find a purse on the street. This person is in fact a hero and did what not many people would do. He went out of his way to return the money and other valuables to someone who had n knowingly lost them. There are people who perform acts that are heroic to one person but at the same time affect another person in a negative way.

Are these people considered tobe heroes Judging by what Mother Teresa has once said, heroism comes from the heart and is meant to e a good deed. A deed which has had love put into it. Therefore if that deed contains hate for a person or thing, then it is not considered to be a heroic act. There are heroes all over the world at this very moment. The perso who is interpreted as a hero by some could be looked at by others as an ordinary person. Who is and who is not a hero all depends on the point of view from which you are seeing this person.
