The one part of the media that has every one hooked is the television. Many people read magazines or listen to the radio, look at newspapers but the TV has them all beat. It is probably the most influential invention out there next to the telephone because it is the number one source of news and entertainment. Something good about the media is that they do let us know what is going on in the world even if it is a half-truth. Have you ever rushed home from work or school to watch your favorite TV show because I know I have.
May be some people read more in one day than someone else watches TV but most people do watch and will always have a TV on in the house. Radio came first and that was the same way. People would sit around a box with no screen and listen to people talk. It seems like the things are invented just to make people lazy. As soon as the television came out every one had one.
They are mostly for entertainment purposes. People are always so influenced by the things they see on TV because of how offer drawn every thing is. Movies have become a big part of the seen and it is all because of the TV. The things on TV are not real they are all just things to make you think something is important. Maybe if we watched TV that was coming from another country. The news in this country is unbelievably insane.
People know but they don't care because they like it the way it is. They must figurer that if it is important they will tell us about it. The things that are going on over seas are way worse than what the news says. I think we disserve the truth not some made up story to spare our feelings The only thing I can say is that I don't agree and let it go.
