But after the attacks of aircraft in the World Trade Center, plus the Pentagon in Washington, America was like a little wolf, wounded on one of its legs, and could never stand up. Some people say that it is the start of World War 3... or maybe the Armageddon.

Not only people in America were terrified but also every individual in all nations, praying that the terrorists won't target their homelands. The news quickly spread all over the globe, like a enormous fire. News Stations such as CNN, NBC, BBC, and CBS quickly responded and delivered the latest happenings, just to keep everyone informed and aware of what is happening. And there is only one person who is to be blamed for all these terrorism attacks... that name spells Osama Bin Laden. In a news conference, Afghanistan's hardline Taliban rulers rejected suggestions that Osama bin Laden was behind the attacks.

The Taliban's ambassador to Pakistan says bin Laden doesn't have the facilities to carry out such well-orchestrated attacks. "This mass terrorism is the new evil in our world today", said Prime Minister Tony Blair, who canceled a speech at a trade union conference. "It is perpetrated by fanatics who are utterly indifferent to the sanctity of human life, and we the democracies of this world are going to have to come together and fight it together". In the weeks after the Sept. 11 attacks, the U.S. has openly played the economic security card, offering concessions to key players. In return for Islamabad's support of the air war against the Taliban, Washington lifted its remaining economic sanctions against Pakistan.

It also approved pending trade agreements with Jordan and Vietnam, and extended new trading preferences to exports from Indonesia, the most populous Muslim nation. U.S. negotiators helped secure World Trade Organization membership for China and Taiwan, and top officials flew to Moscow to advance the WTO ambitions of Russia, another key ally. In effect, the Bush administration is trying to give economic security the same importance as physical security by offering to remove sanctions or give special trading privileges to countries that join the coalition formed after the attacks in Manhattan and on the Pentagon. The U.S. also is trying to use the sense of solidarity to advance its trade objectives. Those include launching a new round of global trade talks and asking Congress for fast-track authority, which would give the chief executive greater control over trade issues. Now, America is making its revenge as the wounds of the attacks heal.

American troops are now crossing the boundaries of Afghanistan to make their turn and start killing all those people who cheered when the WTC collapsed down, the people who rejoiced when the Americans were weeping, the people known as the people of Afghanistan. "It is probably the largest attack we have ever seen against an open democracy and therefore an issue for the entire democratic world", said Sweden's Prime Minister Goran Persson. "All democratic forces must form a united front". In the Philippines, our economy was also greatly affected during that period, as our other Asian neighbors suffered economic crisis. There were also speculations that the Abu Sayaff in Mindanao were trained under the leadership of Osama Bin Laden. They are terrorists here in our country that also has on goal and mission: to destabilize the present administration.

Since the whole world is in one objective to stop terrorism and promote peace, others have made their efforts to drive away the Abu Sayaff, just the way Americans would like Osama Bin laden to pay for his unforgivable sins and hideous acts of crime. Therefore, we must stand up as one as one world to stop terrorism. Centuries have passed and yet there are still people fighting, each wanting to live according to their own selfish ways. There are children imprisoned in the cages of poverty, starving without knowing when they will eat again.

As long as there are individuals who are like these, the world will not be able to make a "perfect" place to live in.
