Our Identities From Our Past Ancestors example essay topic
Through life, we all can benefit from our mistakes, and by studying the past we learn from our ancestors mistakes and we benefit by knowing not to do some of the things they did. If there ever was or became a time in your life that you came upon an unresolved family mystery, wouldn't you want someone with expertise to seek the truth beyond the mystery? Wouldn't you want the truth revealed to you and your family? It is all our right to know what happened or happened to our ancestors.
What if people stopped researching and discovering dinosaur bones? We wouldn't know what these magnificent creatures were or where they came from, or how they died, and why they died. The same story outlines ourselves, but in much greater detail. If we didn't know about our ancestors we wouldn't know what great human beings lived within their selves throughout the past.
We wouldn't know what language they spoke, or medicines they used, or utensils they used or managed to create through time. The past has and always will have a big impact on our lives until the day we die, and become history... also meaning; a part of the past. Through my eyes, and possibly through yours, you can see the footprints left behind by our ancestors, that we will forever continue to walk in. They will always play a big role in our lives, and thanks to archaeologists and anthropologists, we can discover, visualize, talk, and still explore the past, whether it be at home or at a museum. As you can see, it is morally acceptable for scientists to study our past to let us know the good times and bad times, and creations of our ancestors, and the order in which they proceeded to live their lives.
These remarkable scientists hold the key in the palm of their hands, to unlock the door to the past, and if you or another stands in the way of that door, you will never know the great treasures that are waiting to be discovered, or the people created them.
