The World Economic Forum, a private foundation, does not have decision-making power but enjoys a great deal importance since it has been effective as a powerful networking forum for many of the world's business, government and not-profit leaders. When you have tougher competition, you tend to improve in order to compete. Thus consumers and buyers of products and services gets the very best of everything. Free competition on a global scale has liberated inventive and entrepreneurial talents and accelerated technological innovations.

Globalization also encourages exchange in information and technology. With the existence of globalization people around the world are able to exchange information and trade knowledge. On top of that a decline of a country's economy cannot be blamed on globalization altogether as there other factors to be considered such as corruption, data collections, differences in culture and institutions, including the legal system, that may influence growth or inequality.
