Chairman, ladies and gentlemen, thank you for attending this meeting, allow me to present myself, my name is mister smith, and as a senior citizen in our beloved town, I would like to express my concerns and opinions regarding the pop festival. First I would like to say im glad the police will be conducting a meticulous search on all of the people attending the concert in order to prevent any possible undesired incidents, but the organizers of the festival have argued that this will delay the entrance to the festival area greatly, as a result of the vast number of people attending the event. Well In my opinion I think that security should be the first priority in mind of all individuals involved in the organization of the event, as we have heard already from the police representatives, they will provide a large amount of armed personnel to secure the site, so I don't think the delay will be of such magnitude that will reduce the people entering the festival, further more if we post 5 or 6 entrances with metal detector machines the queues will surely reduce. Another big security concern me and my neighbors had was vandalism and to our relief the police, will post some officers in town with vehicles to ensure the safety of our property and ourselves, for whom I would like to congratulate the police department. Moving to another point, Noise and Garbage, the people who live in the village but will not be attending the festival, would like to keep their peace and quite, although I realize complete normality in our town is impossible during events of this magnitude, we were hoping that the music will be turned down after 12 and we have discussed this with the organizer and they have assured us that the music will be turned down and for that me and all of the other citizen thank you. Litter and waste is another main factor, the environmental department has provided enough garbage cans to reduce the amount of litter on our grounds, but as we can expect not all the people will respect this and will throw there garbage on the ground, so at this point I would like to request from the environmental department to recruit volunteers to clean the site after the festival is over, our fields have been green till this day and we would like to keep it that way.

We " ve heard that the shops around town will close for the duration of the concert and open tent on site for the festival, this raised a big concern regarding the citizen who will not be attending the festival, a solution should be found as this creates a rather important issue, and if I may suggest 60,000 people is a large number of people for a small village mini market to handle efficiently, so I believe that in order to keep the citizen of the town satisfied whilst also provide fast service on site, their will be a need to hire some kind of catering service to serve food on site, I do not believe this will create an economic problem as the incomes from the festival will be more than enough to pay for the service and the resources needed for this kind of event. I have discussed this with a number of my close friends who live in town and we realized that parking will also become a major problem, the idea of the crowd parking in another town with an hourly shuttle seems the bet way to resolve this issue, but we must bring into play the added cost of paying the other town used and the shuttle service 24 hours a day for 3 whole days, but this is beyond my personal knowledge so I cannot give my opinion on this matter, I do hope that we will avoid, having people parking in our town as it will surely create a disastrous situation for me and all of the other citizens. I am overall content with the organization so far and at this point I would like to congratulate and thank all of the different individuals and departments involved into making this event a joyful and safe festival for all of us..
