Points To The Impossibility Of Foster's Suicide example essay topic
Unfortunately for whoever murdered Vince Foster, they did not accurately portray the suicide scene. If Vince Foster allegedly did shoot himself in the mouth, pointing towards the top of his head, the bullet would have passed through the nasal cavity. Since the heart continues to beat provided that there is oxygenated blood in the body, and considering that this was a direct head wound, the heart should have continued to pump for at the MINIMUM a few moments, producing an outpour of blood from the nasal / sinus cavity. This effect is similar to a bloody nose, however, at least one thousand times more powerful since the nasal / sinus cavity is completely obliterated by the lead bullet. However, the crime scene was found with hardly any blood. In fact, the first person to find the body and all following reports dictate that there was a small trickle of blood on his face that did not in the least resemble the explosive blood scene that investigators should have found.
Complementary to this, there was hardly any blood in the immediately surrounding area. The only blood appeared at the base of his nape, where it appeared in large quantities, as seen on his shirt. This dearth of evidence supporting the suicide theory is in direct contrast to the forensic evidence. Another major component that points to the impossibility of Foster's suicide is in regard to the gun and its ballistics. Theoretically, if Foster did shoot himself in the mouth, then his hand and the gun should be covered with blood.
However, even with the most sensitive chemical tests, there was no blood found on the gun and from visual observations of the photo leaked to Time magazine, there obviously was no blood on Foster's sleeve or hand. Fingerprint tests revealed that Foster's fingerprints were only present at the base of the handle and did not appear anywhere on the chamber or shaft of the gun. In fact, DNA tests on the fingerprints, revealed that the fingerprints present on the barrel of the gun were more likely belonging to a Hispanic or Black person. The coronary report from the Medical Offices of Northern Virginia did not find any powder spots at the top of Foster's skull or on the palate of his mouth. This in inconsistent with the suicide theory, for if Foster did fire the gun on himself, there should be an excess of powder marks throughout his mouth, sinus cavity, and roof of his skull.
Also, the powder marks that were found were completely different in shape, density, and origin to that supposedly fired from the. 38 caliber gun that Foster owned. This mere sampling of the forensic evidence regarding the suicide / murder of Vince Foster stands in direct contrast to the information released under the Clinton administration. The lack of blood at the crime scene makes it quite unlikely that Foster shot himself and the evidence regarding the gun and its ballistic information make it almost impossible that Foster shot himself. This is a minimum sample of the evidence that could be used to incriminate someone working within the White House for the murder of Vincent W. Foster.
