I believe that President Jackson should be impeached for many reasons. Some people, when you go for president try to make better the country with all of there power. Jackson as president, was a huge bully to the country with his power. He acted like a rich kid picking on the poor kids.

He definitely used his power of veto extremely too much and acted as if he was the only super power in the world. He also threatened other people who opposed him which goes completely the opposite direction of what the constitution says which is freedom of speech. Jackson's presidency was a good point and a bad point in the American presidency. It was a bad thing because so many things went horrible for the country.

But it was also a good thing because it showed future presidents what to not do in the presidency which is have full control of what goes on in the country 1. Behind their accusations lay the fact that Jackson, unlike previous Presidents, did not defer to Congress in policy-making but used his power of the veto and his party leadership to assume command... President Jackson used his power of veto very heavily. Any law he didn't like, or any sort or business or bank he did not like, he would try to veto it in some way. Some of his veto's would include the recharter bill that he vetoed and his war on the National bank from which he vetoed many bills regarding them. 2.

Jackson, in vetoing the recharter bill, charged the Bank with undue economic privilege... Jackson, not liking the National bank, vetoed the recharter bill which helped the national bank. When he vetoed the bill the economy went into a national slump. 3. When South Carolina undertook to nullify the tariff, Jackson ordered armed forces to Charleston and privately threatened to hang Calhoun... John Calhoun tried to nullify the tariff set on South Carolina.

When Jackson heard of this he ordered his troops to go to John Calhoun and issue an immediate threat to him saying if he did not stop he would hang him for imposing the presidency. 4. Kitchen cabinet: . Jackson chose his friends as advisors over people who were qualified to do this job. This act gave Jackson more power, because his advisors were behind him with ever decision he made.

5. Spoil system: . Jackson chose his person friends and other close friends as his cabinet. This was bad because like the kitchen cabinet his friends would support him ever time he made a decision. His friends didn't know a lot about politics aswell too unlike the other advisors he would have. 6.

Bank war: . Jackson had a grudge against the national bank, because he wanted so-called pet banks. Jackson did everything in his power to get the national bank out of business. His vetoes on the banks bill caused a nation slump. 7. Ordered that all government deposits be withdrawn from the banks branches and placed in certain state institutions...

Jackson not liking the national bank thought that all the money should go to so-called pet banks, which were small banks under his control. The pet banks were run under Jackson's digression. They gave small amounts unlike the national bank which gave huge sums to people. 8.) Indian removal act: . It was because there were laws protecting Indian settlements. Jackson, defying the law that protected the Indian land right made an act that sent many Indians on the trail of tears, which was called the Indian removal act.

He did this because he believe America should have more land, and the Indians were blocking America from getting that land.
