Is it really better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all? Some of the couples today make that statement seem to be the ultimate truth and others make it questionable. Some appear to be perfect for each other, and others can cause you to wonder just what it is that they have in common. From a girl's point of view, there are many different types of boyfriends with various behaviors out there. Some go for the typical shy guy, others for the ticking time bomb, the twenty-four seven frisky friend, the little puppy its way, or even the searched for soul mate. Just to think that the next guy you meet may turn out to be just the opposite of what you " re looking for creates a risk that no girl can seem to refuse.

The guy sitting next to you in your summer English class appears to be your typical shy guy because he never has much to say. Imagine yourself a month from now dating him and picture how he'd be as a boyfriend. Now you " re not only spending time in the classroom, but you " re also devoting and sharing everything you have with him. You find yourself waiting for the moment for him to come out of his shell, but it just never seems to come. This proves that the shy guy never really changes much over a period of time, relationship or not. There will always be an awkward moment of silence with him that may cause things in the relationship to become a little unsteady.

For example, when you both attend your company's annual picnic, he comes off as being an unsociable date that seems to be attached to your hip because he never makes the effort to converse in your conversation nor his own. For some people a shy guy isn't so bad, but for those who are looking for a long-lasting relationship, it's not recommended. Moving up a step or two from the shy guy brings you to the ticking time bomb that some girls just can't seem to get enough of. These are the guys that make it hard for you to take them out because it's unpredictable when that bomb that you " re holding hands with will go off. Fortunately for these guys, some girls will put up with the edginess that these easily irritated guys seem to possess.

Whether you forgot to pick up the dry cleaning for his big job interview tomorrow or for the new club that his buddies and him plan on checking out this weekend, it's never a sure bet of just when he " ll explode. Maybe you make the mistake of forgetting to balance the check book or pay the electric bill, there is no way of telling just how powerful that explosion will turn out to be. It could demolish a building or a city; it's never a pleasant experience for anyone. An uncertainty like this can leave public outings and parties to be a risky adventure, making it hard on the relationship.

This leaves a good time never a guarantee. Climbing up the ladder of love from the ticking time bomb brings us to meet our so-called "frisky friend". How can a relationship possibly work if the only thing going through his head is the "99 Ways to Get Her in Bed" from September's issue of Cosmopolitan. Having a boyfriend that is constantly worried about not spending enough hours "in the sack" can definitely have its strengths, but it will also bring weaknesses into the relationship.

It can also cause a very awkward moment in public if he tries to make a move that should be kept behind closed doors. Bystanders are annoyed by it, and their appalling comments are sure to annoy you too. Just to hear the words, "Get a room" from a stranger can make that moment quite embarrassing. It's obvious that he overlooked that article on "Public Do's and Don " ts". Now that we " ve come from being the closed doors, we " re faced with the little puppy that has lost his way. These guys like to think that their girlfriends are really going for all of the different excuses they have for letting the sun beat them home.

It usually starts with a line like, "Honey, me and the boys are going out tonight. I'll be home early". When she wakes up in the middle of the night and she's still home alone, it's obvious that something isn't right. The girl sits and wonders if her man really things that she is so stupid to believe all of this mumbo jumbo. A mouth full of excuses like "We had car trouble" or "I lost track of time", pour out over breakfast, and if for a second she starts to buy the load of crap that he is giving her, then she hasn't learned yet. Most of the girls out there that are in a relationship with a guy that claims to be an innocent little puppy that lost his way home last night have learned by now and refuse to let their puppy playfully trample over them anymore.

After her man has practically wasted his breath apologizing, the girl reminds him that she may have been born at night, but it wasn't last night. When that little puppy found his way home one night and realized that she's had enough, it's probably because she's looking for a little more in a relationship. This brings us to something that every girl is looking for, the man of her dreams, her long-lost soul mate. I'm sure you " ve heard people speaking of love at first sight and things of that sort. There are many couples that say they knew they were meant for each other since they first laid eyes on each other. It all sounds so sweet.

Many people have found this true love and a so-called soul mate to be their boyfriend; it all just appears so perfect. Those girls have found the guys that have a dozen roses delivered to their work with a sweet card attached and they live to pamper their woman. They speak of the incredible bliss; the adrenaline and the natural high they have when they " re together, making it seem easy to find for anyone. This little game of "Hide and Seek" might be harder than it appears. If all of this talk of love at first sight and a destined soul mate is true, then who wouldn't want to find someone like that for himself or herself?

There are plenty of fish in the sea, but finding the one perfect for you can sometimes come off as quite the difficult task. Whether or not your type is one the various that were listed or a mix of two, there is someone out there for everyone. Dating and relationships are all just and enormous experiment using trial and error. The girls have to learn which type of guy is right for them, and there is no way of doing that if she doesn't at least try a few different types of guys out.

Just remember that relationships are quite the risky game, but those who win are those who took the chances.
