ERNESTO CHE GUEVARA LA HIQUERAS - Ernesto Che Guevara died October 9, 1967. Services will be held October 15, in the Church of Christ in Havana. Guevara, born June 14, 1928 in Rosario, Argentina, was an educated doctor as well as a revolutionary target. All his life Guevara toured the world joining various guerrilla warriors and conquering new feats with things such as writing a book, starting a peasantry school or becoming the head of a bank. A radical from birth, Guevara became an acquaintance of Fidel Castro, eventually becoming his right hand man. This led to his eventual capture and execution.

Guevara led revolts in Bolivia amongst the Bolivian minors and was captured by a group of guerrillas who were out for the soul purpose of finding him. The public stirred when Guevara disappeared from sight after 1964. There were numerous stories about his whereabouts, all known to be untrue. His disappearance was promptly following Guevara's trip to North Africa where he himself led several "outspoken criticisms" towards the Soviet Union along with China against their economic exploitation of the smaller and underdeveloped nations around them belonging to the Socialists camp. A man named Sergeant Terran received requests of Guevara's execution, after several officials had already been told that Guevara was to remain alive. Guevara would give no straight answers to the companies holding him but always led them with words such as "perhaps", "possibly" or "sometimes".

After a minor disagreement between Terran and Guevara due to Guevara's knowledge of what was to come, Terran shot Guevara against a wall, where he slouched and bled to death. A second Cuban official named Rodriguez was in charge of the entire operation of Guevara's capture and all of the companies involved. Rodriguez was one of the men told that Guevara was to be kept alive for reasons so far unsaid. For this reason, Rodriguez instructed the lower Sergeant Terran that all injuries were to be below the face so that they could look "combat related" and they would not have to face charges of "illegal execution without trial". As pure mockery and humiliation of others, Rodriguez went and took Guevara's watch, with he later showed to reporters and other people, involved or not, to prove that they had killed Guevara without outwardly admitting it. Che, meaning "pal", had no children or wife during the duration of his lifetime.
