Even though these two movies deal with different sports, they both prove that people should never give up on their dreams. Rudy is a classic film about a boy who always had a dream of playing football for the University of Notre Dame. Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger was told his whole life that he would never be good enough to play football for Notre Dame. Everyone told him he was too small and too slow.
But Rudy never listened to anyone's criticism, and he worked hard day in and day out. His work ethic was so dependable that the coach decided to keep him around just to be on the practice team. Rudy never missed a practice during the two years he attended the university, but didn't get to dress for a game until the final game of his senior year.
