Sides Of The Debate example essay topic

In the persuasive essay I'm writing today I will be going through; why hunting isn't bad, why hunting can help our ecosystem, and what we should do about the hunting sport. I would like to start off by saying, there is a big debate on whether or not hunting is ethical. There are good points on both sides of the debate, but I have decided to support the hunting sport. Hunting can help our environment and are ecosystem because sometimes nature doesn't keep the population of some animals down at a healthy level. For example the rabbit, who are cute little fuzzy creators, but populate rapidly. Hawks and disease don't take them to the number (we as people) would like (or need) them to be.

The coyote is another animal that we hunt, because there are too many of them and not enough natural predators to take care of them. Coyotes and rabbits destroy crops and livestock. Farmers are loosing ways to stop them. Coyotes keep finding (and learning) ways around fences, poisons, and shock callers. While rabbits just keep coming back for more food. In conclusion I think the government should only give a certain number of people a license to hunt and set a certain limit to how much they can hunt.

Hunting can be good, but it can also be bad. There are ways we can control it. although the debate between the two sides on whether or not hunting is ethical will probably never end, people can all compromise a little.
