350 words
Stomp Stomp is a wonderful array of percussion and rhythmically talented people. A Stomp group usually consists of approximately 15 people. At a Stomp concert, you might see a matchbox symphony, a pot and pan orchestra, or maybe even a broomstick band. Whatever it is you desire in percussion, Stomp probably has it. Stomp comes right out of New York and has been touring the country for about 12 years. Anytime they have a concert, the auditorium is packed full of people all wanting to hear the splendor of Stomp's talented musicians.

And talented they are in deed, these young men and women must be strong and healthy do keep up a concert for 2 1/2 hours. To insure this, Stomp interviews young people who would one day like to be in Stomp. Generally, anyone can be in Stomp that meets these requirements. At the concert I went to, the Stomp performers showed much talent and really impressed me.

I was impressed because they it really had some symbolism in it that I didn't think I would notice. I realized that they were reaching out to people saying that they can do anything that thy want to do. I was also impressed because they communicated with the audience by getting us to repeat the rhythm that they did. It made many hilarious movements. For example, they used sinks with water and through it on the audience. They also did this with sand and a mop.

It was very interesting. I wish to see them again if I could because I am truly inspired by these talented young musicians. In conclusion, I would like to say that I learned a lot from going to this performance. It had me motivated for the rest of that night and the day after. I wanted to join them right then. I think I could make it, one, because I am talented, and two, because I am hyper so I could keep it up.
