Students Need Time example essay topic
It seems that even younger elementary children are being assigned two to three hours of homework a night. A couple years ago a ten-year-old would have twenty hours of homework and now they are stuck with hours of it. Children should be climbing amongst trees and riding their bikes until bed time. Not doing homework until eight o'clock. Secondly, students and children all need some time to them selves and a social life. They need to have time in their schedule to go out with friends or spend time with their family talking and hanging out.
How are students supposed to learn how to socialize with others in the future, like in a working environment, if they never get the opportunity or time to do so? Also, students need time to them selves. To relax their mind and body. With so much homework, there isn't time for any of this anymore. Lastly, if the amount of homework is reduced, students would be able to focus better. Two hours of homework in each subject does add up, and teachers don't realize that.
How are students supposed to enjoy school or a subject, let alone stay focussed in class when they " re up until ten or eleven o'clock completing homework? It has come to the point where most students don't even bother doing it anymore. If students spend an overall of two hours each night on homework they will have time for other things. Such as, extra curricular activities, clubs, and socializing, they would be a lot happier. Not to mention, they wouldn't be as frustrated or tired, so they would stay focussed more. Therefore, children and students must act and do as individuals their age are supposed to.
Students need time to themselves or they will build up so much stress inside that will one day explode, causing them to react in anger or have a mental breakdown. They also need a social life they can build upon and so they feel some control in their life. When the amount of homework is reduced, students will be able to stay focussed more, they " ll feel less stressful and they will be a happier and healthier person both inside and out.
