The Hunted is a good action movie. This film enjoy a lot of knife fights, chase scenes, and violent death scenes. There's a lot of action. This movie doesn't waste a lot of time with psychoanalysis because it is all about chase. This movie start with Aaron (Benicio Del Toro) working a special operation in Kosovo.

He is a soldier trained to get in and out quietly and kill his target. He is one of the unit's best. Aaron horror experiences begin to affect him, and the nightmares that he is having. During the movie we can see that he was once an American soldier but is now a victim of battle stress. Tommy Lee Jones plays "LT", the man who trained Aaron. Del Toro is back stateside and we next see him hunting men who are out hunting.

Jones is called in to help with the case. and when he discovers that it is his former student, the film begins with a game of cat and mouse between student and teacher. I love when an action movie has great actors in them. It gives the movie such a great feeling. Tommy Lee Jones and Benicio Del Toro have both won "Best Supporting Actor" Oscars. Tommy Lee Jones plays "Bonham". Benicio Del Toro plays "Aaron".

And Connie Nielsen plays Abby. I really like the casting, especially Del Toro as Halle m. Tommy Lee Jones has done this role so many times he could probably do it in his sleep. He still approaches this performance with skill, energy and conviction.

He creates a distinct character rather than another repeat of similar prior performances. Benicio del Toro is memorably creepy and complex as Aaron. these two actors are the entire movie and they do a good job and made an action movie a good movie. The camera work is excellent. I think the most impressive moment occurs when Tommy Lee Jones is seen falling down a waterfall. Another moment is when we can see Bonham leaping off of the front shot long enough so we can see Bonham leaping off of the front porch of a house.

It's only a fall of twelve feet or so, In conclusion, I really enjoyed this movie, but I have to admit that the storyline didn't really impress me. I believe that the director of this film did an excellent job in creating the tension and making the fight scenes so real that I could almost feel the blows. The action was fast and the plot held my interest throughout.
