True To Your Writing example essay topic

Writing was never my forte but it is certainly something I enjoy doing. I find the best way for me to write a good paper is pure consistency, to do nothing else besides a few meals, bathroom breaks and short breaks in-between the writing period which may last anywhere from a few hours to days. In that time several things come into my mind, I start with a basic idea which is derived from the nature of the paper I am required to write. In this case it is an effect paper, to touch the reader in some way. So I tackled that aspect first, to find some effect I can bring to the reader within the period of time they have to read. I finally came upon an emotion which we all have felt in our lives but all regret dearly.

It is that sorrowful sympathy one feels when some terrible thing has happened. The feeling of utter despair with no hope of recovering. After figuring out what the effect shall be, there has to be a vessel for that effect. A poem wouldn't be as dramatic and a song the same, so a short story suited this idea just fine. Now after setting up in sequence the effect and the vessel I go onto figuring out what should keep this vessel afloat. So I come up with an idea of utter loss where there seems to be no end, then a small relief appears destroy the sorrow, than the remedy is yanked away leaving more sorrow and loss.

So now I have my effect, the vessel which shall carry that effect and how the vessel will float so with that in mind I begin writing. After this initial process of intense thinking and planning the rest is easy as words really do flow through my fingers if I know what I have to write about. As you can clearly see it is broken down into several parts, each taken one at a time. All that is needed is just skeletal frame and filling in the gaps. So words come out of my mind through my fingers into the keyboard and almost as in a trance I write. After writing though is where more precision takes place, where hours upon hours of rewriting and revisions are made.

After a few hours of that it is officially declared finished, send to the printer and done with. As one can see there is no great secret in my mind on what makes a good paper. Just do something that fits your style and agenda. Writing is like a natural process, you have to go about it true to yourself and write for yourself not for others. The feeling you get when you write must come from within and only when you are true to your writing will it come out the way you want it to.
