1. What are some of your fears about returning to school? What negative and positive experiences have you previously had in school? I foresee Time Management being my biggest challenge.
I have been working 2 jobs the last couple years and have been able to successfully balance my career and personal life. But with my new, relatively unstructured schedule, I will need to learn to manage my time in a completely new way. I guess, organization will be the key to my success. I will need to set my priorities, create my own study schedule, and discipline myself to stick to it. I have only had positive experiences in school, hence, my constant aspiration for learning.
2. How does a team concept impact the way you learn? What is the value (if any) of diversity in a team? I remember finding the team learning concept challenging, back in my first year of college, but ultimately very rewarding. I am sure that the BSA program at UoP Online will in its time present a demanding workload. I hope for my team to provide me with a personal and academic support system to help me balance my academic, career and family commitments.

I chose to look for personal development though formal education so that I may maintain and improve my job-related skills and enhance my ability to compete for reasonably attainable jobs within my organization. In my first class at the University of Phoenix (GEN 300) I expect to improve my competencies in communication, teamwork, research and other core skills that are necessary for being a successful student at the UoP.
