War In Vietnam example essay topic

Father's Experiences Through the Vietnam Era -- - Beginning with the US and its involvement in the Vietnam War in 1963, my father was in high school and about to enter the military before he was drafted. In 1965 when he graduated from high school, the US was no longer an advisor in the war and our war status had increased to having deployed 500,000 troops. Once active, he was assigned to go to Athens, Georgia where he was trained for the war effort in the Supply Core. Upon him graduating his training class, everyone in his unit was assigned to go to various destinations.
While others went to Vietnam, my dad was sent to the East Coast where he was stationed on a destroyer that was assigned for intelligence purposes and to protect the USS Liberty, which was a spy ship. This was all during the Yunkipur war -- -Israeli's and the Arab's were the involved players. The USS Liberty was attacked and 18 soldiers were killed, which seemed to be omitted from the media and never was there any retaliation against the Israelis. Even though my dad was not centered near the war in Vietnam, he still was affected by the aftermath. Because he went through the training, he understood the consequences and the behind the scenes fear that was involved. Due to his involvement with military situations, as stated above, he lived the discrimination from the antiwar protesters.
He couldn't wear his uniform in public from fear of being verbally abused or spit on and furthermore he had to deliver death notifications to the families of the men that died in Vietnam. At this time he was engaged and in the midst of planning for his wedding when having to travel to Boeing and deliver news to a father that his son had died, also he had to travel to the University of Washington and inform one of his fellow naval officers family members that his brother died in Vietnam. That news was taken with grave discontent and curse words were used in violent outbursts; this was because my dad represented the Navy who had taken away his brothers life. He arranged three burials personally and saw to it that the families were taken care of. There were 34 men in his infantry and out of those three marines were killed, along with 4 aviators; therefore his graduating class had a huge death toll.
My dad retired from the Navy in 1995 which was the year when the US established diplomatic relations with the Vietnamese for the first time. My fathers entire Naval career was during the Vietnamese era and to this day it is still hard for him to recount the friends he had lost and happenings he went through during th.

I never leave reviews for products or services because I am quite particular and picky. Surprisingly enough, EssayPride has managed to satisfy all of my requirements, even though I asked for several alterations to the paper they've sent initially. My assignments are quite complicated and it is essential to possess a certain level of knowledge in order to write a decent paper. These guys have managed, so I give them four stars.

As probably any student, I was quite hesitant about asking somebody else to do my assignments at first. However, after EssayPride has sent me my first paper and I've read it, I understood that I could actually learn a lot from them. The research they've done was impressive and I understood the topic even better than after going to class and reading my textbook. I am not using this website to "cheat", I am using it as a tutoring service, they help me to understand the material better.
