Ways His Painting example essay topic
Many of C'ezanne's early works were painted in dark tones useful with heavy, fluid pigment. Pissarro not only provided the moral encouragement that the insecure C'ezanne required, but he also introduced him to the new impressionist technique for exposing outdoor light. Along with the painters Claude Monet, Auguste Renoir, and a few others, Pissarro had developed a painting style that involved working outdoors and on a reduced scale. Utilizing small touches of pure color, generally without the use of preparatory sketches or linear outlines. Many of C'ezanne's early works were painted in dark tones suggesting the moody, romantic expressionism of previous generations.
Although he seemed less technically accomplished than the other impressionists, C'ezanne was accepted by the group and exhibited with them in 1874 and 1877. In general the impressionists did not have much commercial success, and C'ezanne's works received the harshest critical commentary. He drifted away from many of his Parisian contacts during the late 1870's and '80's and spent much of his time in his native Aix-en-Provence. After 1882, he did not work closely again with Pissarro. My thoughts on Cezanne contrast in many ways.
I think that he is an amazing artist, expressing himself in many ways while using dark, light, and radiant colors in most of his paintings. Paul's paintings inspire people to look at art in a different way. But with this he maintained a concern for solidity and structure in his paintings. Making sure that they all had a meaning and described the time in life that he was expressing. Although Cezanne didn't alternate the ways his painting were, he still was a very impressive artist throughout the world!
