! Is just better than yummy, this wonderful dessert is a favorite of the Mexican culture, it is the ultimate for those who choose not to diet for the day. It started out as a quick birthday lunch celebration get away, customary among some girls at the office. We decided to go to Chevy's, just about one mile from our job so that we could be back to work within an hour or so. Walking into this festive Spanish looking restaurant, our first encounter was a table displaying magnificent finger-licking mouth-watering desserts.

My friend and I looked at each other and from that we could practically and most certainly knew that we were going to have a very special lunch and something more thereafter. We even focused and knew exactly the dessert we were going to order sooner than later. At that time we both knew that lunch would be lite so that there could be a dessert shared between both of us. Of course, we scanned the menu to see what they had to offer, but our attention was firmly scattered towards the end, looking for the dessert section to inquire the name of a specific scrumptious and mouth-watering dessert. Without actually voicing it and through mind telepathy we knew we would order it at the end. There was no option, we would definitely share it.

It would be less filling this way, besides, this way we would share the calories as well. The appealing famous dessert consisted of rich and creamy whole milk vanilla ice cream, the scoops were about the size of billiard balls. Its creaminess was that you can almost taste this wonderful dessert with just your eyes. With a touch of smooth and sweet caramel swirls with a hint of honey, this mixture enveloped the ice cream allowing each spoonful to pick up ingredient in each portion. Of course we cannot forget the crunchiness of toasted and golden coconut; it was spread evenly in this crystal huge sundae dessert glass.

This lip-smacking mixture was topped off with fluffy and feathery whipped cream and the sweetest sliced ruby red strawberry, just enough for decoration and to add some color. Needless to say that this dessert was mouth-watering, it melted in our mouth upon contact. It was not frozen to the point that you could not take pleasure in each spoonful. If no protein was ordered it would definitely be a dessert that could be consumed by me alone, with no shame, the consequences of course is guilt, this was definitely a high-calorie, high sugar and let us not forget the fat content, but. .., tomorrow is another day. Today I have satisfied my urge, not to mention that I still have this great taste in mouth. Well, maybe this will be worth once a week, it is a treat that I deserve, and cannot deprive myself of, if I don't eat it, who will?
