This shows that the speaker is angry and does not want to be because he's angry but with his friend. This also shows that if you don't let your anger grow then it will end. Blake writes once again in his poem "A Poison Tree"I was angry with my foe I told it not, my wrath did grow". This shows that the speaker is angry with his enemy but doesn't want to be.
It also shows that when a person has an enemy the anger grows more and more. To the experienced person the world is filled with anger because of all the problems that the person has. An experienced person would see fear in other people. Blake writes in his poem "A Poison tree"and I watered in fear" this shows that he is in fear of something that could happen to him or of his enemy.
This also shows that he sees fear in other people because of the way they may act. Blake also wrote in his poem 'The Tiger"what immortal hand or eye cold frame thy symmetry?" in this quote the writer talks about evil and also shows that he is fearful because of the way he makes his question sound in the poem. To the experienced person the world is full of fear because of the way people act and talk. To the experienced person the world is still full of anger and fear. Blake explains in both his poems "The Tiger" and "A Poison tree", in one of his quotes from the poem "A Poison Tree" he says "and I watered in fear" here he is demonstrating that he is fearful of the world itself.
