Zion The Machines example essay topic

In this final chapter of the trilogy, Revolutions comes to be an unexpected ending to this great sci- fi movie. From the breath taking final scene of reloaded we are introduced into this third movie, when Neo is in a coma after defeating the machines in the real world. As we go on the Oracle explains that Neo is not in a coma, but instead he is in a transition between the real world and the machine world. As Neo is freed from this world by Trinity and Morpheus, they start the search for another ship that is missing. Facing great danger as they do this they realize how little time Zion (the last human city) has.

When they find the Niobe and the missing ship, they face a decision of how to get to Zion without encountering with the machines that by the minute are getting closer to the destruction of Zion. As the discussion goes on, Neo comes in with a wild request to take one of the ships to the surface and face the machines. He has an answer he has a way to beat the machines. After a long discussion they grant his request.

With one ship but no supplies or ammunition he embarks on his trip while the rest of the crew going a different way, to try to safe Zion. As they prepare to leave the encounter a surprise visitor Agent Smith, who is on the ship and has no intention on letting Neo or trinity go. As the fight between good and evil unfolds Neo is blinded by and electrical wire, but still is able to beat Agent Smith representation in the real world. With Neo blind, Trinity has to pilot the ship to the surface. While this is going on, the other ship is heading to Zion through a service tunnel (a route that is consider impossible to pilot in this ships) with captain Niobe in command, with a flawless piloting so far, when they are facing the hardest part of the journey, passing near the machines which are digging to Zion, Niobe slips and hits a wall causing a great noise that makes some of the machines come after them in a great rally to Zion.

With Neo and Trinity on the surface, they encounter a dark and cold world, the only thing they see are machines and human fields, which provide energy for their survival. As they approach what seems to be the core or brain of the machine realm. The face resistance from the machines, Neo starts to fight them but as the approach it seems his effort is no good, and tells Trinity to go up and over what is a grey cloud of smoke. As the go pass the cloud and escape the attack, they face the light of the sun on thing that has not been seen since the machines took over the surface of the earth and humans burned the sky thinking machines would not work without solar power. With this great scenery, they face a much bigger problem, the ship in which they are has critical failure and cant fly no more and they start a dive into the machine world. Meanwhile in Zion the machines have reached the dock wall and the attack on the city has begun.

Humans are prepared and receive the machines with a storm on bullets which is not enough and a great battle is on the way between men and machines. As the defense system is collapsing, Captain Niobe brings the ship into Zion and blast the EMP (Electro Magnetic Pulse) killing all the machines in Zion and disabling al the computers in the city. Facing this problem that they have no information on the machines and how many more are coming they hide in the last construction they have, prepare to give their lives for this city. Mean while Trinity and Neo crashed into the machine world, leaving Trinity very injured to the point this injuries cause her death. Neo comes out of the ship and faces what seems to be the head of the machines, which is prepared to kill him, but Neo has a plan, he can do what the machine have failed to do, destroy the anomaly (Agent Smith) that has taken over the Matrix but in return the machines have to leave the city of Zion alone. The machines agree to this and give Neo a chance to go into the matrix one more time.

While this is going on the machines are about to kill every human being that exist, they stop and stay there immobile while Neo enter the matrix. Inside the matrix he finds desolation and millions of Agents Smiths waiting fir him, but only one comes out and want to end him. An epic battle starts between good and evil, the battle goes on to be a fight that will define if the human kind will survive. Every move counts and there is great intensity but at the end it seem agent Smith but he did not have in mind that Neo inner strength is stronger and goes on to beat Agent Smith in this battle and restores order in the matrix, but the cost to pay is his own life. In Zion the machines pull back home and peace is restore between machines and humans for now.
