275 words
This entry explains the spreading of the West Nile virus. The number of viruses has grown since 1999, exceeding to over 700 infections so far this year. To take control and prevent yourself from mosquito bites, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention insist on getting rid of water where mosquitoes can use for breeding areas, wear long pants and shirts, and to wear any type of repellent containing the chemical DEET. The spread of West Nile will affect you if you do not apply mosquito repellent, which can lead to serious illnesses or death. The spread will have effect on your family as well if mosquito repellent is not also applied, having the same effects. The West Nile spread would have an identical outcome on society in the United States.

The legal implications are that cities should be responsible for spraying repellent once they are aware of the mosquitoes. The government could be legally responsible for not taking action when a confirmation has been received. The medical implications are when more people are infected with the West Nile virus, medicine should be developed to stop the spread of the virus, and to cure it. The government should send funds to communities which are infected with the West Nile virus to construct research on the prevention, aid, and cures for this virus.

The ethical implications are that it is the government's responsibility to prevent deaths and incidents involving the virus. I hope that this paper can help anyone out there who have to study about the West Nile disease, wish as I have. web.
